White Label set to host weekly music events and listening sessions at their Mayfield Depot spot

It's an all day café and audio space with a relaxed, mid century feel, open 8am to 8pm every day, with vinyl spinning from the first coffee of the morning to the last plate of the evening.
Heading through Mayfield or Piccadilly on the way to work? This is your new stop. White Label’s grab and go counter is all about hot drinks and fresh pastries to take with you, from a batch americano or a flat white to a seasonal special: a pistachio and cardamom latte that’s well worth the detour. Pick from half a dozen pastries on the counter and you’re sorted before your train has even been announced.
Once the laptops close, White Label turns its attention to the music. Every Friday, its Listening Sessions pair a carefully curated soundtrack with dishes from a guest kitchen
Tonight it’s The Afrobeat and Jazz Funk Session, curated by Medicine Men DJs and celebrating Fela Kuti, Cymande, Ezra Collective and Ibibio Sound Machine. Think heavy brass, West African highlife and the energy of London’s modern jazz scene.
On the food, Ibile is taking over with three regional dishes and cocktail pairings: beef suya with jollof rice (£15.90), tatashe butter prawns with soft Agege bread (£12), and ewa agoyin with crispy plantain chips (£8).
