Joe Lycett is buying Manchester Pints.
By Saskia PhillipsAll you need to do is ask for your order to go on ‘Joe’s tab’. The comedian announced the giveaway during the finale of his Channel 4 show, Love From The Lycett Arms, as part of a campaign supporting pubs across the UK.
The Manchester venues involved are The Old Monkey on Portland Street and the Peveril of the Peak on Great Bridgewater Street, with both pubs giving out free drinks on Friday 16 October.
The campaign comes as pubs across the country continue to face the threat of closure, and aims to get people through the doors of their local and remind them why these places are worth holding on to.
So, if you’re heading into town this Friday, it could be the perfect excuse to pop into one of Manchester’s much-loved boozers for a pint on Joe.
