Win £1,000 eating out in Manchester in Eat Well MCR’s biggest-ever raffle
By Anna GledsonEat Well MCR has added an amazing new prize to its Eat Well, Do Good raffle: up to £1,000 back on food and drink at participating Manchester restaurants, bars and cafés. The prize comes courtesy of Shuffle, a Manchester rewards app that gives customers cashback when they eat and drink at participating venues.
The winner will be able to use the prize across eligible Shuffle venues in Manchester. They pay their bill as normal, receive any usual Shuffle cashback, and the remaining eligible amount is then added to their Shuffle balance from the £1,000 prize pot.
So, for example, if they spend £100 and receive £40 in normal Shuffle cashback, the remaining £60 is also added to their Shuffle account through the prize.
The £1,000 prize joins a huge line-up of prizes donated by Manchester’s hospitality community for Eat Well, Do Good, Eat Well MCR’s month-long celebration of Manchester hospitality, with restaurants, bars, chefs and friends across the city hosting events, creating special dishes and raising money for Eat Well MCR throughout October.
Other prizes include a meal for two with champagne at Where The Light Gets In, tasting menus at Sampa, lunch at Circolo Popolare, an overnight stay at Marriott Victoria & Albert, £150 to spend at Tattu, dinner at The Ivy, a Stockport food tour, a sourdough and wellbeing day with The Reiki Baker and tickets to Neighbourhood Weekender 2027.
There are also prizes from The Refuge, Elnecot, Nell’s, The Black Friar, Flight Club, Dos Hermanos, Mama Z, Palm’s Bakery, Arcane, Companio, Chorlton Cheesemongers and many more.
Kathleen O’Connor, co-founder of Eat Well MCR, said: “This has turned into a pretty ridiculous raffle, in the best possible way. Our friends across Manchester’s hospitality community have given us brilliant dinners, hotel stays, days out, festival tickets and loads more, and now someone can win up to £1,000 back on eating and drinking around Manchester too.
Claudia Gwinnut from Shuffle added; “Shuffle is all about encouraging people to get out and discover brilliant local places, so partnering with Eat Well MCR felt like a really natural fit. This prize gives someone the chance to enjoy some of Manchester’s best restaurants, bars and cafés while supporting a charity that’s rooted in the city’s hospitality community.”
Eat Well MCR recently passed the milestone of 170,000 chef-made meals delivered across Greater Manchester.
The raffle forms part of Eat Well, Do Good, which sees restaurants, chefs, bars and food businesses across the city raise money for the charity through dinners, events, special dishes, drinks and donations throughout October.
The raffle closes at the end of October.
